Thursday's Kids is in full swing now with 23 Cornerstone students joining our 12 adult volunteers each Thursday after school.  Our kids enjoy working one-on-one with not only adult volunteers but also 4 student volunteers from Melrose Elementary, Edgewood Middle School, and Wooster High School.

The adult volunteers include:  retired teachers, coaches, guidance counselors,  principals, administrative assistants, financial advisors and attorneys.   Our diversity makes for an exciting afternoon!

The children, ranging in age from six to eleven, enjoy the individualized and small group attention and work so hard for their tutors. When homework is completed, they get to unwind in our newly refurbished gymnasium in the new Youth Center, a gift from the Stan Gault family.  After unwinding, we all go to "Meals Together" in Wesley Hall to join their families for a wonderful meal together.
