Children's Ministry (View Site)

Infants:

  • Nursery provided during Sunday School & Worship Services.
    8:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. staffed by a paid professional.
  • Infant baptism upon request
  • Cry Room in balcony for parents with infants to see and hear worship service, and an area in the back of the Sanctuary with rocking chairs.

Preschool:

  • Sunday School
  • “Live BIG” curriculum
  • Tabernacle Time during 11 a.m. service
  • Child centered worship experience

  • Cherub Choir (preschool-kindergarten)

Elementary:

  • Young Adults 18-30 years

Adult Education

Sunday 9:45 to 10:45 a.m.

Adults w/ young children:

  • The Amazing Race—Parents of younger children. “Drop off” your kids to their classrooms then “Drop In” for Christian fellowship in Room 312.

Adults w/ school age children:

  • The Chapel Class brings together parents of teens to discuss parenting and faith building within the family. Meets (of course) in the Chapel.

Adults w/ grown children:

  • TrailSeekers use scripture based study books. Meets in Room A.
  • Path Finders meets in Large Turney Lounge and share the leadership of discussions concerning current topics.
  • New Horizons is a group of active seniors engaged in lively discussion on various Christian topics. Meets in Room C

PASTOR’S BIBLE STUDY:
A Tuesday morning study group led by the senior pastor. Meets in large Turney Lounge from 10:00—11:30 a.m.

THE CORE—YOUNG ADULTS (age 18-30)
Meets Tuesday evening at 7:00. Group includes students from the College of Wooster (COW) and Agricultural Technical Institute (ATI) and other young adults.

Men's Ministry

Promise Keepers Bible Study:

  • Men come together for Bible Study & discussion around a campfire in summer/fall and inside during winter/spring.
  • Meet Monday evenings at 8:30 p.m.

Basketball:

  • All ages…young & young at heart. Tuesdays at 8:30 p.m.

Walk to Emmaus Faith Retreats:

  • A three-day spiritual renewal & time of growth. Summer, spring & fall dates. Contact church office for details.

Fellowship Opportunities

Holy Grounds
9:30-11:00 a.m.—Fellowship and refreshments for all in Wesley Hall

Meet & Eat Luncheon
Seniors meet monthly on the first Friday for lunch. For ages 65 and over.
No reservations needed, just come and enjoy!
The group meets at 11:30 a.m. at TJ’s Restaurant.
