About Us

We take seriously our obligation to bear a faithful witness to Jesus Christ in our homes and in our community. Jesus is the center of our church's life and witness in Wooster, Ohio and throughout the world. We embrace our rich biblical and theological heritage as we walk as faithful disciples of Jesus Christ. As a community of faith, Wooster United Methodist Church invites all to glorify God in an active Christian community. 

We believe that God calls us to be a community of believers following the leadership of Jesus Christ. Therefore, what we do individually and as a church must be consistent with Christ's example and teaching. God invites us to be partners in demonstrating love for all people.
